Bob’s food and wine experience goes back 25 years, 15 in Boston, where he opened and managed several restaurants, before moving back to the Midwest in 2000. He was the creator and General Manager of Wine Knot and owner/manager of Bluefish at the Kenosha Yacht Club. Sommelier was born on the premise that great wine can be affordable and that variety is indeed the spice of life.
Amy
Amy has worked in the food and beverage industry for over nine years and has been part of the staff at Sommelier since 2004. She loves the opportunity her work affords her to taste hundreds of wines from around the world. Amy is also a beer aficionado, always on the lookout for a well-crafted microbrew or interesting import.
Scott
Scott fell in love with wine in 2003 while attending a church dinner function. He successfully completed the Introductory Sommelier Course through the Court of Master Sommeliers in 2008. Scott enjoys serving and interacting with the customers at Sommelier, a job he finds “very rewarding”.
Kari
Kari has been a wine lover since before she could order it in a bar, but she has grown in her love and knowledge of wine since beginning work at Sommelier last July. She is especially fond of California Pinot Noirs, but has developed a growing interest in Petite Syrah. Besides her interest in wine, she is a high school English teacher by day and an English graduate student at Marquette University by night.
